Not trying to single you out but sorry, I might not care for ricers either, but look at the big picture... Follow the money trail. Not only is the aftermarket cashing in on the import scene, but now the municipalities are cashing in on the aftermaket who is cashing in on the import scene. Eventually it will go beyond imports... Texas had emmissions crap imposed on us back in the late 90's. It was proven to be nothing but pocket lining for the state & a legislator (and Z owner) fought it and defeated it with enthusiast help AFTER it was law. Unfortunately the bill came back a few years ago and was approved again and still remains. Our legislator is retired, so we lost our loudest voice... at least this time it's a little more legitimate of an program, although still a neusance. SEMA is doing some damage around here & I pay attention to their newsletters... it does sway my vote as an enthusiast. If this is successful as it appears to be... I guess you have 2 options, fight it, because the next thing will eventually effect you as a CA resident driving a car (notice I didn't say sports car) OR profit from it by buying the confiscated/auctioned cars and 'exporting' them from Kalifornia to the U.S..
